Who am I?

    I am a work and organizational psychologist, associate professor at Faculty of Management and Economics, Gdansk University of Technology in Poland.

   My teaching is on management psychology and ergonomics. I am interested in occupational health psychology and positive organizational behaviour.

    My latest articles published in international peer-reviewed journals focus on job-related emotions and job burnout as well as job satisfaction in the multicultural environment.

    I am an active participant of the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology, European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology, European Health Psychology Society and the Division of Health Psychology, Polish Psychological Society.

Research interests

My research interests focus on occupational health psychology, work motivation, employee well-being, and positive organizational behavior. In particular, I study:
  • job burnout, work fatigue, and occupational stress,
  • work engagement and positive work-related motivation,
  • the Job Demands–Resources theory,
  • job-related emotions, affect, and coping processes,
  • occupational well-being in dynamic and demanding work environments,
  • positive management and motivation in universities and knowledge-based organizations,
  • longitudinal and multilevel approaches to employee health and burnout,
  • self-efficacy, self-esteem, and personality in professional and entrepreneurial development,
  • cross-cultural interactions in multinational organizations,
  • Positive Organizational Scholarship and its application in management practice.
My work combines occupational health psychology with organizational and management research, with particular attention to the factors that support sustainable motivation, employee resilience, and healthy functioning at work.
